STAR: Jon's no longer wants primary custody

Jon Gosselin has decided he no longer wants to fight for primary custody of his eight children with Kate Gosselin!

“Jon will withdraw his petition for primary custody as early as today,” a source close to Jon tells Star of the legal papers he filed in a Pennsylvania court earlier this month. “He thinks the best thing for his kids, and his relationship with Kate, is if he and Kate have joint custody of the children.”

Continues the source, “Jon fired his lawyer, Anthony List, and he’s going to file the paperwork himself in the courts. Jon’s told Kate he’s going to withdraw the papers and he said she’s so relieved.”
