Police escort me!

"Kate Gosselin recently took her brood of eight to Tennessee (over their spring break, no less!) to shoot scenes for an upcoming episode of the hit reality show on TLC, Kate Plus 8.

 

But, as soon as the plane landed in Tennessee, it appears as if Mama Gosselin was looking for the movie star treatment. A source revealed that she "made a scene" at the Tri-Cities Regional Airport in Blountville and had police give her an escort.

"Kate had the police walk her through the airport and into the parking lot," said the source. "She was talking about wanting them to escort her limo to the hotel so the photographers didn't get near her. But I'm not sure if they ended up going that far."

A police escort is one thing, but a police car escort to a destination seems a bit overkill. Plus, where's Kate's bodyguard? It seems as if he would be on trips like this, so she doesn't have to ask for escort service.

So, was Kate Gosselin genuinely concerned about her and her kids' safety, or was she playing the high-maintenance, diva role and looking for attention?

Nevertheless, it wasn't all about Kate Gosselin the whole time. She and the kids helped others (and most likely got some good scenes filmed) by hosting a collection drive for a food bank at a local grocery store. No divas allowed that day!"
