Earlier today
Back to mommy duty: School bus stop
Celebgossip.net
After spending her Monday in a New York City salon, Kate appeared to be back to a normal routine today August 26th. She dropped all eight children off at the bus stop.
Also in other news, the Queens sextuplets will be airing in a new show called "Sextuplets take New York"...TLC says;
"We fell in love with them. All of our shows look at interesting families and interesting lives. They're struggling with taking care of a lot of small children who are all the same age and overrunning their house.""We fell in love with them. All of our shows look at interesting families and interesting lives. They're struggling with taking care of a lot of small children who are all the same age and overrunning their house."
So could this mean less interest in Kate + 8.Many have said they first watched the show because they related to the family, 'haveing a house too small', 'having to budget to feed their families', and struggle with keeping the romance alive in their marriages, but watching 'Jon and Kate + 8 was all that and more, they had the struggles eight times over. Somewhere at the end of season four however, Kate became the business woman selling the Gosselin brand, and Jon was happy to not have to work anymore...money came in and now NO LONGER do viewers relate. How many mothers have the luxury of five hours in the salon, let alone have time for a shower?
So, it's with all those queries I believe the Carpio's will be a fresh new look on daily struggles times seven (they also have a 9 year old son).

'Hump day'...lets 'throw back'
As we reach 'Hump Day' Gosselin Diary wants to give you a 'throwback' of some memorable moments. Take your time to peruse these links.
The Gosselins talk to Oprah, remeber that segment? Well they were already seperated yet 'together' in public, soon after this the Gosselins 2009 unraveled.
Also remember that 'watergate'? Where Mady asks for water, and Kate takes a sip without offering any to Mady.
Jon and Kate on Dr. Phil in 2008, asking for parenting help.
Oh, how fun was that?
But there were happier times, 'Surviving Sextuplets and Twins' and 'Surving Sextuplets and Twins One Year Later'
What will the future bring?

BAD media for Kate
It has become increasingly apparent... enough to mention. That Kate has been getting slaughtered by the media once again, and Jon has come around as the 'simpleton' father.
Today, Monday August 23rd Kate went en route to New York with her bodyguard Steve Neild. They stopped at a Dunkin Donuts for some coffee. Kate was displeased with the rain, 'maybe' she should check the weather channel before getting dressed. Talking about Kate's dress sense, Jo Piazza from Pop Eater asks "Should Kate Gosselin start dressing her age?"

Also in can the show continue? Jane in CA, wrote;
"Yes, to every thing there is a season, a beginning and an end. There are countless child stars, one hit wonders, and others who have had their 15 minutes of fame, only to be left in the dust with the passing of time.
Simply put, I can't see how the show can continue much longer. For one thing, the majority of Americans are feeling the financial pinch of our economy. Many people are desperately seeking a job, any job. Others are hanging on and making do with much less. None of them want to tune in to watch a selfish unkind and undeserving woman go on vacation after vacation, and when home, do nothing else with her time besides shopping, tanning, and having her hair and nails done. Kate contributes nothing to make the world a better place. She is a living example of selfish excess. The audience for her show will continue diminishing until TLC finally pulls the plug. Let's hope they do so after this season.
Kate cannot hope to carry a show by herself. The children are growing up and no matter how long she makes them sit in high chairs or wear matching clothing, or underfeeds them, they've already grown out of the cute baby/toddler stage. While they all have nice features, they are really not so very different from other children their own age to generate the interest that they once did.
Perhaps blessedly so, none of the children seem particularly talented. I mean, none of them are potential child stars (singing, dancing, acting, etc.). Besides which, if Kate tried to get them into movies or music, agents would take over and run the show, and Kate couldn't stand that.
I predict Kate will grow increasingly desperate to keep the material goods she's amassed so far, such as the McMansion, the expensive cars, clothes, and of course, her babysitter, Steve Nield.
But when the money runs out, she won't be able to. How can she maintain the mortgage and upkeep on that huge property? How can she afford to pay Nield $1600/day to accompany her on jaunts around town? Some people think she's socked away a good amount of money -- maybe so. But what I see is a woman who spends, spends, spends.
I just hope that she can't touch what little bit of money actually made it into the children's accounts.
I'd like to add: TLC is no longer allowed in my household. Even long after the Kate show is taken off the air, TLC will remain off limits in my household. They lost a viewer for a long, long time, perhaps life."

Jon has the kids
After a busy day filming and school shopping the Gosselin kids were driven to the bottom of their driveway by mom Kate and collected by their dad Jon. Jon's girlfriend Ellen drives his Mercedes and drops him off, and then follows him home. He can no longer go on the property and leave his car, because after the custody dispute Kate decided she doesn't want Jon in, or near the house.

Back to school shopping @Bascov's
On Saturday August 21st, the last school vacation weekend for Cara, Mady, Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah and Joel was spent back to school shopping with their mother, Kate and bodyguard Steve.
Steve drove the family to Bascov's, and on arrival Kate moved over to the drivers seat so the film crew could get footage from inside the van.
To read Kate's blog on her recent trip to Bald Head Island go HERE. Also have you read GWoP's Kate's lies, and interesting read HERE.
Why have Cara and Mady worn the same white shorts (Cara) and denim skirt (Mady) all week?

What an adventure: shoe shopping
On Friday August 20th, Kate took her children to purchase some new shoes. They drove all the way to Quakertown, PA a whole ONE HOUR and SIXTEEN MINUTES from there home to Stride Rite Shoes. As they arrived with the film crew, those who didn't want to appear on the TLC special {or refuse to sign a release} had to leave the store. When they finally left SIXTEEN shoes later, they had a crowd awaiting outside. Kate briefly stopped and took a few pictures with fans.
